MTV Enough is Enough: Gangsta Rap documentary

A 1994 MTV's Gangsta Rap documentary "Enough is Enough"

  • Snoop Doggy Dogg (his name at the time)
  • Dr. Dree
  • Ice Cube
  • Ice-T
  • Eazy-E
  • N.W.A
  • Naughty by Nature
  • Tupac Shakur
  • Onyx
  • Spice 1 (not related to the Spice Girls)
  • Too Short
  • Ghetto Boys
  • 2 Live Crew
  • Kool G Rap & DJ Polo
  • Nate Dogg & Warren G
  • Suge Knight (not a rapper but a fuckin' huge gangster as he was the boss of Death Row Records)

Mostly West Coast rappers. At the time, non-gangsta East Coast rappers were rapping about gold chains and stuff like that...

It's always cool to see so to see and heard about the who's who of Gangsta Rap of the 90s.

What I've learned, and already know, from watching this documentary.

Gangsta Rap rules!

Women are bitches and hoes.

Controversy creates Ca$h.

Montreal Gangsta Rapper gang members

After writing a post about KCLMNOP, the first ever Gangsta Rapper in Quebec, Canada. I've turned my attention to the current Gangsta Rap scene in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. And I can tell you that the Montreal's rap scene is alive and kicking with a lot of street cred and bragging rights.

Thanks to wikipedia in French, here is a list of the rappers of Montreal representing gangs. I will take a closer look at these rappers, keeping an open eyes to everything Red (Bloods) or Blue (Crips) in their music videos then leaving a their YouTube link on each rapper's name.

Is there's anything more edgy than being related to street gangs?!
