Another thing that is worth mentioning. Michael Jackson didn't instill a dress code for the badass Heavy Metal guitarists he employed. As you can see in the contrast in fashion style. Leather, studs, denin, flannel, big hair... Slash could even smoke cigarettes on the stage!

Given some time, if Michael Jackson was alive today. The weird looking Buckethead (Guns N' Roses lead guitarist 2000-2004) would certainly have played for him. Plus, Buckethead is a lifelong Michael Jackson fan.

It seem that Buckethead is as weirdo as he looks like. 

1. Buckethead always wears a KFC bucket on his head.
2. Buckethead always wears a Michael Myers-Halloween mask.
3. Buckethead often wears a yellow raincoat.
4. Buckethead communicates through a glove puppet??!!??
5. Buckethead incorporates nunchaku and robot dancing into his stage performances... WTF????

• Buckethead is extremely prolific!  Has released 265 studio albums, four special releases and one EP. He has also performed on more than 50 other albums by other artists. Wow! Astonishing!!

From 2000-2004, the prolific Buckethead aka Brian Patrick Carroll took Slash's place as Guns N' Roses lead guitarist. The fuckin' crazy eccentric musician reportedly had some very weird and unusual requests for recording his parts on the album 'Chinese Democracy'.

• Buckethead insisted on recording his parts for Chinese Democracy in a specially built chicken coop decorated with rubber chicken parts.
• When Axl's pet wolf puppy took a dump in Buckethead's cage, the guitarist refused to let anyone remove the turd, claiming that he loved the scent. 
• Buckethead also kept a TV monitor in his coop that streamed constant hardcore porn. 

Another weird fact, is that W. Axl Rose was reportedly far more offended by the hardcore porn streaming than by the dog poop presence.

The moral of the story is:

Axl Rose prefers dog poop over hardcore porn!?!

Slash vs Buckethead

Slash and Buckethead are two ex-Guns N' Roses lead guitar players, two weird names, two unique hats, and no free can of Dr. Pepper.

I explain the Dr. Pepper thing.  In March 2008, Dr. Pepper, a major soft drink company, issued a public challenge to Axl Rose, stating that they would give a free can of soda to everyone in the country — except ex-GN’R members Slash and Buckethead — if the band’s long-delayed album ‘Chinese Democracy’ came out that year. When the album did in fact arrive later that fall, the company was unable to keep up with demand, resulting in a downed website, frustrated customers and even the threat of a lawsuit.  Oh, and tons of publicity, which… was obviously the whole point.
