Bob Martinez was the Governor of Florida that decided that this album was considered obscene, a few members of the band were arrested because of this album, also record store owners were arrested by Sherrif ‘Navarro’ because they were selling this album. 2 live crew responded by saying “This is something I shouldn’t say…. ‘Fuck Martinez’ and ‘Fuck Navarro’ ”  The group wisely found two other men with the same names, and had them sign releases, as they thought that this action would make it impossible for Martinez or Navarro to sue them.
